Project Description

Centered on a geological formation which underwent little or no exploration, the Murdoch property holds a potential for significant zinc and/or copper SEDEX type deposits. In 2008, prospecting teams discovered boulders yielding grades between 5.6% and 17.5% in zinc.

The Murdoch property is centered on the geological formation carrying the same name, where previous works outlined a strong regional copper till anomaly that is coincidental with a copper nickel-chrome and cobalt lake sediment anomaly.

In 2008, a prospecting program was. Copper-zinc-silver mineralizations were located mainly in boulders. Significant zinc values were obtained in boulders and warrant a follow up.

Khalkos announces that it has signed an agreement with Virginia Mines Inc. whereby Virginia can acquire a 55% interest on Khalkos’ Murdoch property.
